LADO training - Scenario

The multi-agency allegations management training will provide attendees with an opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of the allegations management process, the role of the LADO and their responsibilities as employers.  This training will follow a single LADO case to look at how processes are applied and incorporate;

• Other circumstances for referring to LADO (including transferable risk, suitability, risk by association and low-level concerns)
• The role of the LADO
• How to refer to LADO
• LADO Pathways
• Employer responsibilities
• Allegations against Staff & Volunteers Meetings (ASV’s)
• Strands of investigation
• Rights of the employee / volunteer
• Investigation Outcomes & Allegation outcomes
• DBS and regulatory bodies

Please note this course does not include refreshments other than water, delegates are encouraged to bring a hot drink if they wish.
